as a Motion Picture Cameraman for 17 years—his work spans everything from features, commercials, episodic television, music videos, IMAX, short films, 3-D, documentaries, industrials and national training films. Since 1990. his unwavering desire to tell stories as a has undoubtedly made him a better Cameraman, and in turn, made him a better filmmaker.
Page and his production company, Trackster Entertainment, is currently in early pre-production on his first feature film, Lockport, with principal photography slated to start in 2012. Several notable actors are attached, including A-listers.
For 2 seasons, Rick directed the award-winning show A Lyon In The Kitchen with celebrity chef, Nathan Lyon on the Discovery-Health Channel. It currently airs on FIT TV.
The newly released short film AppleBox is his latest film with actor/producer/writer James Madio (HBO’s Band of Brothers) and Producer Mia Niebruegge. Along with Madio, the film stars AJ Buckley (“CSI: New York”), and film veterans Frank John Hughes, Rick Gomez, and Ron Livingston. The film has earned multiple awards, including Best Actor (Madio), Best Director, Best Short Nomination, and recently the esteemed Emerging Cinematographer Award for DP Joseph Arena, SOC.
In 2000 his short film, (along with writing partner, Luke Schelhaas) Water With Food Coloring toured the festival circuit for 3 months, earning numerous awards and a limited theatrical release for 6 months.
Page, along with Mr. Here Productions is in development for a new reality show, Made Right Here. The concept highlights things made in the USA, showing how, where, and who the people are making these products. Their stories, their towns, their pride.
